The other risk that you can suffer with is Heart Burn if eating high quantities. The capsaicin can cause irritations to the oesophagus and the stomach. Gastrointestinal Reflux Symptoms can be experienced by those people with heart burn as well as people who would not normally experience these symptoms.

How can you reduce irritation?

Yes, you can by taking with your meal or just before your meal especially if you have been asked to take supplements.

Also take care not to touch your eyes, mouth, or open wound after you have been cutting fresh or dried Cayenne Peppers as the capsaicin does not become absorbed through your skin so will linger on your fingers.

The other thing that you need to be careful of is the effects of capsaicin if interacted with certain medications. The number of properties of Cayenne pepper is astounding! I started consuming it a few years ago. I’ve always been in a constant struggle to lose weight and keep it off. I’ve read a lot of books about the subject, and that’s how I came into contact with this pepper.

It’s not miraculous, but if consumed correctly, it can boost your metabolism and help you improve your overall health. The only downside I can think of is its irritating effects. Those with gastritis should limit their consumption.

    Thanks for sharing.

I too enjoy cayenne pepper and had heard sometime in the past about the benefit of the addition of this pepper for dieting.  We do not read about the regular black pepper that we normally eat.  Is the cayenne really that different?

The warm lemon vinegar cayenne morning drink sounds interesting, but a bit unusual.  As apple cider vinegar has such a distinctive taste.  Is the benefit compromised if this is mixed in bulk and added to hot water? I don’t know about taking time for mixing and measuring before grabbing that cup of coffee.

As we are trying to shed some excess weight and stay more healthy overall, this could find itself being mixed in more of our foods.  I usually use jalapeno peppers, but could switch to the cayenne, or add a bit of both.  In your research did you notice if one of the pepper family was not as good for our bodies to consume.  I do know that to get accustomed to the spicer varieties will take a bit of adjustment.  Thanks for the information.

      Hello Sami

Thank you for those questions and your comments.

All peppers come from the Capsicum family but their tastes and hot spice varies. Also there are sweet peppers in this family too.

It is best to serve the drink fresh especially as Organic Cider Vinegar also contains a probiotic at the bottom which you want to shake for your juice in the morning. It is super easy to make in seconds.

Yes, if you are new to spices just add in slowly to see the benefits.

      Thank you so much
